Yes! we're still here and still welcoming world travellers to our "Voyagers' Venue" One of the original hostels that made "Backpackers" into a destinations of choice for voyagers from around the globe.
After 16 years nothing's the same and nothing's changed.
You can still walk downstream from downtown to find us.
Just far enough (750m) from the square to get out of parking meter territory.
But our quaint old cabins are all gone.
Instead we have quaint new rooms surrounding our grown and growing garden.
The rooms have under floor heating in case it's chilly, and the garden's fully air conditioned.
We still have no TV.
We still have "travellers" whose travel urge is on hold.
They stay and stay.
We still have travellers whose travel urge is rampant.
They come back.
There's no more Hat Parties at The Star and Garter (they knocked it down)
But we still get occasional reports of Foley Towers re-unions in London and Tokyo and Toronto.
There's a lot of tradition at Foley Towers.
We're still making it.

Dormitories with 3 bunk sets (6 people) in each $14.
Share rooms mostly with only 3 beds $16.
Twin and double rooms with share facilities are only $18 per person.
Twin rooms and double rooms with private en-suite shower and toilet are just $20 per person.

If you carry your own sleeping bag,  bed sheets or sheet sleeping bag that's all it costs. If you want to use our sheets, there's another $2 per stay to pay.
